Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain health and safety policies aligned with current industry standards and regulations.
• Create safety policies, procedures, and documentation that are both regulatory‑compliant and user‑friendly.
• Lead and participate in working-at-heights and confined space rescue drills to ensure safety preparedness.
• Investigate incidents and near‑misses, conduct Root Cause Analyses, and recommend corrective actions.
• Represent the organization in meetings with regulatory bodies and external safety‑related stakeholders.
• Review and interpret safety reports and regulatory data to ensure adherence to technical requirements.
• Conduct safety audits at operational sites across North America to ensure compliance with both internal and external safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in safety, environmental science, engineering, or a related field – or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in a safety‑related role, with 2+ years in high‑voltage environments.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally 40% of the time.
