Headache Neurologist

The Hartford HealthCare Ayer Neuroscience Institute is seeking a Headache Specialist to join our premier, ambulatory multi-specialty neuroscience center opening in July 2026 in Norwich, Connecticut. We offer a collaborative and inclusive model of care, providing personalized, coordinated care and an excellent patient experience. BC/BE Neurologists or Internal Medicine physicians with fellowship training in Headache medicine are encouraged to apply.

• 18,500 square-foot center bringing together headache, general neurology, epilepsy, neuroimmunology, neuromuscular, stroke, infusion, neurosurgery, pain management, physiatry, EEG/EMG, and diagnostic imaging under one roof

Responsibilities

• Conduct clinical trials and research using state of the art technologies and treatments dedicated to finding new strategies to prevent and treat headaches
• Train and mentor emerging leaders in the field who are pursuing their fellowship through The Hartford HealthCare Headache Center Fellowship in Headache and Facial Pain program
• Participate in graduate medical education, professional and public educational programs

Compensation

• Salaried position
• Actual pay will be determined based on qualifications, location, internal equity, and other factors that may include hire bonuses, incentive pay plans, loan repayment, administrative stipends, or relocation
