Headache Neurologist

Sutter West Bay Medical Group is seeking a full-time, Board Certified/Board Eligible Adult Headache Neurologist to join the largest multispecialty neurology group in the San Francisco Bay Area. This is a unique opportunity to join a well-established and growing Headache program with strong regional referral volume and dedicated support staff. The role offers the ability to shape the future of comprehensive headache care within a collaborative neuroscience environment.

Practice Info

• Join a dedicated team of 3 headache specialists, supported by an experienced NP and clinical staff.
• Robust referral network across San Francisco, the Bay Area, and Sutter’s Northern California system.
• Outpatient-focused with flexibility to combine in-person care with telemedicine for longitudinal patient management.
• Practice in a new medical office building directly across from CPMC Medical Center.
• Be part of a highly integrated neurology and neuroscience program.
• Participate in regular neuroscience grand rounds and multidisciplinary case conferences.

Responsibilities

• Perform Botox, occipital nerve blocks, SPG blocks, and more.
• Tailor practice based on interests, including expanding into community-based headache clinics across the Bay Area.
• Incorporate general neurology.
• Participate in inpatient consults and call (optional/variable based on interest).
• Engage in clinical research through the CPMC Neuroscience Research Institute.
• Teach medical students and residents.

Compensation

• $318,000 - $415,000 /Yr.
• 8% employer-funded profit-sharing contribution up to IRS maximums—no employee contribution required.
• $6,000 annual CME allowance.
