Overview
The Comprehensive Headache Center in the Department of Neurology at Hackensack University Medical Center (HUMC) is recruiting a full‑time neurologist who has completed an accredited Headache Medicine fellowship and is Board Eligible/Board Certified by the ABPN and UCNS. The candidate will join a rapidly expanding interprofessional team that provides state‑of‑the‑art treatment for headache and facial pain syndromes.
Responsibilities
The role includes clinical care of patients, teaching medical students and neurology residents, and conducting sponsored and investigator‑initiated research supported by research coordinators. The faculty rank at Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine will be commensurate with experience and publication record.
Qualifications
- Excellent clinical skills
- Fellowship trained in Headache Medicine
- Board Eligible/Certified in Neurology and Headache Medicine
- Ability to obtain professional licensure, DEA and CDS licenses in New Jersey
- Track record of teaching medical students and residents
- Track record of scholarship
- Eligibility for a faculty appointment at Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine; rank commensurate with experience and publication record
Compensation & Benefits
HMH is committed to pay equity and transparency. The minimum base salary for this position is $258,056, with total compensation and benefits, including health, dental, vision, tuition reimbursement and retirement benefits, discussed during the interview process.
