Head Start Youth Development Apprentice

The YMCA is seeking a Head Start Youth Development Apprentice to support high-quality early learning and youth development programs for children and families. In this apprentice role, you’ll assist with implementing age-appropriate activities, curriculum, and enrichment that promote school readiness, social-emotional growth, and healthy habits. Under guidance from experienced staff, you’ll help supervise children, maintain safe and inclusive learning environments, and build positive, trusting relationships with families.

You’ll gain hands-on training in Head Start standards, child development, and youth work, while contributing to the YMCA’s mission of youth development and social responsibility.
