The Company is a Korean-owned engineering company specializing in automation systems, manufacturing equipment, and turnkey production solutions for automotive OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers. Its U.S. subsidiary was established in November 2022 and has successfully completed multiple customer projects while building a strong operational foundation.
Position Overview
This position requires an executive with both strong business leadership and a solid engineering background. The successful candidate must be capable of developing long-term business strategy while remaining actively involved in customer support, engineering coordination, project oversight, and day-to-day operations within a lean organization.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the Company’s long-term U.S. business strategy and annual growth plans.
- Identify new customers, markets, industries, and strategic business opportunities.
- Build and maintain executive-level relationships with key customers, OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, and strategic partners.
- Lead major sales activities, including RFQs, commercial negotiations, quotations, and customer development.
- Build and lead the U.S. organization, including recruiting, developing, and retaining local talent.
- Establish effective business processes, infrastructure, and a performance-oriented organizational culture.
- Oversee overall U.S. business performance, including revenue growth, profitability, budgeting, and key performance indicators.
- Provide executive oversight of major projects, coordinating engineering, procurement, suppliers, production, and customer requirements.
- Ensure successful project execution, including schedules, engineering changes, installation, and customer acceptance.
- Strengthen collaboration and alignment between the U.S. organization and Korea Headquarters.
- Ensure compliance with applicable U.S. laws, regulations, and corporate policies.
- Represent the Company in key customer meetings, industry events, and other strategic business activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related engineering discipline required.
- Minimum 10 years of leadership experience in engineering, manufacturing, industrial automation, automotive, or industrial equipment industries
- Experience managing a company, subsidiary, business unit, or engineering organization
- Proven success in business development and customer acquisition
- Experience leading technical project execution within an engineering-driven organization
- Strong understanding of manufacturing operations and engineering project management
- Experience working with automotive OEMs and/or Tier 1 suppliers is highly preferred
- Executive leadership and decision-making capability
- Bilingual in Korean and English required.
