Head of Technology – Wealth Services, Managing Director

Responsibilities

• define and execute the Wealth Services technology strategy aligned with business and enterprise objectives
• lead the architecture and development of a scalable, cloud-native platform supporting account opening, trading, clearing, settlement, custody, and reporting
• drive API-first and event-driven architectures to enable seamless integration and real-time processing
• modernize core platform capabilities, including transaction processing, portfolio accounting, compliance, and digital client platforms
• ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including SEC, FINRA, AML, KYC, and OFAC standards
• advance the use of AI, automation, and analytics to improve operational efficiency, risk oversight, and client experience
• lead integrations with third-party clearing and custody providers, including Apex
• partner with Product, Operations, Risk, and external vendors to deliver enterprise-wide solutions
• manage technology investments, vendor relationships, and cost optimization initiatives

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
• 15+ years of technology leadership experience in wealth management, custody, clearing, brokerage, or financial services platforms
• proven ability to build and lead high-performing global technology teams
• deep expertise in wealth management, custody, clearing, brokerage, or related financial services platforms
• strong knowledge of regulatory, compliance, and risk management requirements
• experience leading large-scale platform modernization and cloud transformation programs
• ability to influence senior stakeholders and align technology investments with business outcomes
