A high-growth, mission-driven platform is seeking a Head of Security to lead and fortify its security posture across cloud, application, and on-chain environments. This pivotal role partners closely with leadership to design, implement, and run security strategies that safeguard funds, data, and infrastructure at scale. As a hands-on leader, you will own incident response, threat modeling, and compliance efforts while shaping the security landscape for a rapidly evolving platform that bridges traditional finance and blockchain ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the security strategy, incident response, and vulnerability management to protect core systems and assets.
• Define and enforce secure defaults: secrets management, IAM, network segmentation, and audit logging.
• Oversee secrets management and access governance to ensure separation of duties.
• Conduct threat modeling, security reviews, and build detection tooling for anomaly detection.
• Drive compliance initiatives and represent security standards to partners and customers.
• Manage infrastructure operations including CI/CD pipelines, deployment hygiene, and platform reliability.
• Harden cloud services, maintain observability tools, and optimize operational support.
• Collaborate on on-chain security practices, transaction safety, and smart-contract interactions.

Requirements / Who We’re Looking For:

• Proven expertise in cloud security, incident response, and infrastructure management.
• Strong knowledge of security best practices in cloud environments and Web3 integrations.
• Hands-on experience with security tooling, vulnerability remediation, and threat detection.
• Familiarity with security auditing and compliance frameworks (e.g., SOC 2).
• Practical understanding of blockchain transactions, wallet management, and on-chain security.
• Relevant experience leading security teams within high-growth tech environments.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across technical disciplines.
