Head of Security & Privacy Engineering

Reporting to the VP of Engineering, the full-time Head of Security & Privacy Engineering will define and execute the company's security and privacy strategy, ensuring AI products and cloud infrastructure are secure, compliant, and resilient in a remote work environment. Key responsibilities Own all aspects of Security, Privacy, and Compliance across the company, developing and enforcing relevant policies and standards Lead cybersecurity incident response and continuous risk assessment programs while partnering with the executive team to align security strategy with business goals Build, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of security and privacy engineers, fostering a culture of proactive risk management and innovation Required qualifications 12+ years of cybersecurity leadership experience, ideally within financial services or regulated environments Experience securing AI-driven platforms and awareness of emerging AI risks Strong experience in securing cloud-native infrastructure, particularly AWS Deep knowledge of data protection, encryption, and threat modeling for sensitive financial data Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field
