Head of Retail

Lead the future of a high-growth retail organization as Head of Stores. This is a high-impact VP or SVP leadership opportunity for an exceptional retail operator who thrives in fast-paced, customer-driven environments.

Reporting as a key member of the leadership team, this executive will oversee a large North American store fleet of approximately 300 locations across three regions, with continued growth planned. The role will lead Regional Field Leadership, Store Operations, Visual Merchandising, and Store Construction while shaping the next chapter of the store experience.

What You Will Lead

• Performance, profitability, and operational excellence across a high-volume, multi-region retail store fleet.
• Regional field leadership and a team of approximately six to seven direct reports.
• Store operations, visual merchandising, construction, and fleet optimization.
• Growth plans of five to ten new stores annually.
• Leadership development, talent succession, and a high-performing field organization.
• A consistent, compelling customer and employee experience across every location.

The Ideal Background

• Required: Deep experience leading high-volume retail stores at scale, ideally across a large, multi-region footprint.
• Proven success driving sales, profitability, and operational performance in complex retail environments.
• Strong field leadership background, including leading regional teams and developing future leaders.
• Experience in specialty retail, fashion, lifestyle, or youth-focused brands preferred.
• A highly visible, energetic leader with strong operational instincts and the ability to create followership.
