Director-HFT at AAA global | Ex-Graviton
We are hiring for a senior research role with significant ownership and long term impact. This is a chance to take over a set of live strategies, make them better, and build the next generation of alphas in a fully remote environment. The firm operates on some of the finest trading infrastructure built for US cash equities, giving researchers a meaningful edge in both discovery and execution.
You will work with a strong manager, talented developers, and the opportunity to build a small research team around you. The work is aligned with US trading hours and focuses on US cash equities, particularly HFT and intraday strategies. Crypto experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Take full ownership of several live strategies and improve their performance
- Create new alphas and expand the research pipeline
- Collaborate closely with developers to bring ideas to production
- Analyse real time behaviour and drive systematic improvements
- Build and lead a small research team as the desk scales
Requirements
- 7 plus years of quantitative research or trading experience
- Strong track record in US cash equities, especially HFT or intraday strategies
- Experience building and scaling alphas
- Ability to lead research direction and mentor researchers
- Proficiency in Python for data analysis and model development
- Experience with statistical analysis, backtesting frameworks, and ML libraries
- Crypto exposure is an advantage
- Ability to work remotely in a collaborative culture
- Comfortable with a non‑compete period of up to six months if needed
