Head of Private Markets and Alternatives This senior leader will be responsible for managing a range of strategy and execution activities for the business, including planning, execution and delivery of application and technology solutions in Hedge Fund Services and Private Markets. This role requires a strategic thinker with proven success for also ensuring the implementation of risk, regulatory and compliance initiatives.What you will be responsible forAs Head of Alternatives & Private Markets Technology you will be: Refining and executing growth strategy for a substantial, market-leading offering through driving strategic and business development initiativesDriving strategic and operating planning processes in partnership with other leadersIdentifying and developing relationships with clients and other third parties, and engaging c-suites of target clientsDefining the development roadmap for the Alternative Investment Services and Private Markets programOverseeing end to end application development lifecycle including testing, deployment and L4 supportPartnering with the business leadership to support the planned business growth and client onboardingImplementing application modernization strategy to transform legacy applications to modern scalable cloud-based solutionsBuilding strong relationships with Product and Operations to understand their business requirements and deliver technology solutions.Communicating with senior executives on technology strategies and program statusEstablishing talent development strategies and foster a culture of innovation and accountability Keys to successThese skills will help you succeed in this role: Deep expertise and proven track record in leading and delivering enterprise scale application development, tools and technologiesExperience in Financial Services industry in the area of Alternative Investment Services and Private Markets requiredProven experience in aligning the technology solutions with various complex business strategies and processesExperience leading large multifunctional application transformation workstreams delivering measurable outcomes and business value including risk reduction, resiliency, simplification, reduced total cost of ownership.Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability drive alignment across diverse teams and stakeholders, both internal and external Education & Preferred QualificationsBachelor or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field20+ years of experience in application development with at least 5 years in a senior leadership roleAbility to manage a large team globally
