Position Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced leader to serve as the Head of Partnership team. This role is crucial in strengthening our service competitiveness by establishing and managing partnerships with mobile content service providers, including both gaming and non-gaming companies. You will need to have a deep understanding of the mobile landscape, mobile applications, mobile ads, app-store and other distribution/monetization platforms and evolving business models. You will also have a deep understanding of Samsung’s product roadmap in order to articulate platform value and represent product requirements to partners. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in partnership development, negotiation, and strategic collaboration, with the ability to lead and inspire a high‑performing team. The candidate will also have excellent communication skills, as well as the ability to navigate and embrace the complexities of a large organization. While managing partner relationships, the candidate will need to be able to see the big picture but remain detail oriented. The Director must be a self‑starter and will need be comfortable in a fast‑paced environment, take initiative, prioritize well, and work under tight timeframes. Experience working with Mobile OEMs strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategies to identify, engage, and establish partnerships with mobile content service providers.
  • Lead negotiations and finalize partnership agreements to enhance our service offerings.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align partnership strategies with overall business objectives.
  • Manage and oversee the Partnership Group team, fostering a collaborative and results‑driven work environment.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of existing partnerships, identifying opportunities for improvement and growth.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities to identify potential partnership opportunities.
  • Represent the company in industry events, conferences, and meetings to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements in partnership agreements.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance partnership management processes.

Qualifications

  • 15 years of overall experience with BA/BS required, MBA preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in partnership development, negotiation, and strategic collaboration.
  • Strong understanding of the mobile content service industry, including gaming and non‑gaming sectors.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in partnership management tools and business software.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Experience in leading and managing a team.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a leadership role within a technology or content service company.
  • Knowledge of financial and contractual aspects of partnerships.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies.

Compensation

The salary range for this role is expected to be between $280,000 and $320,000. Actual pay will be determined considering factors such as relevant skills and experience, and comparison to other employees in the role.
