About Varick.
Varick builds AI agents that take over real operational workflows inside the world's largest enterprises. Our forward-deployed engineers and strategists embed with client teams, map how work actually runs, then our engineers build the agents into production. We're venture-backed, revenue-generating from day one, and already in production inside several of these companies. You'll join an elite team from Meta, AWS Bedrock, Citadel Securities, McKinsey, BCG, Stanford, and more.
The Role.
You own how Varick shows up in the world. We're early to a category that's about to be obvious, and you build the marketing engine that makes us the name enterprises think of first. This is a builder's role: you set the strategy and you execute it, at least until you've earned the right to hire under you.
What You'll Do.
Own Varick's positioning, narrative, and voice across every channel
Build the content engine: thought leadership, case studies, and the technical depth that earns credibility with operators and engineers
Run demand generation that produces real enterprise pipeline, not vanity metrics
Own our presence at the events and in the rooms where our buyers are
Partner with sales and the founders to sharpen the message based on what actually closes
What We're Looking For.
6+ years in marketing, with real ownership of strategy and execution, ideally in B2B enterprise or technical products
A track record of building a marketing function or motion, not just running an existing one
Strong writing and editorial judgment: you can produce and shape content that credible technical buyers respect
Commercial instincts: you tie marketing to pipeline and revenue, not activity
Comfort in an early-stage, high-bar environment where you build before you delegate
Nice to Have.
Experience marketing AI, enterprise software, or consulting and services
A personal or company brand you grew from early
Founder or early-team experience
What We Offer.
Meaningful equity, real ownership, direct access to how the world's largest enterprises actually run, flexible PTO, free lunch and dinner in the office, Ubers home if you're staying late, and monthly team dinners.
Logistics.
On-site in our San Francisco Financial District office, 5-6 days a week. Comfortable with startup hours, for startup upside.
Equal opportunity employer. Employment is subject to a standard confidentiality and non-disclosure agreement.
