About Sunny

Sunny is building the AI-native operating layer for healthcare.

Healthcare organizations still rely on people, call centers, fragmented databases, and legacy software to perform enormous amountsof work that modern AI can increasingly perform autonomously.

Sunny connects members, providers, pharmacies, employers, and healthplans through intelligent agents and a continuously improvinghealthcare data layer.

Our products help organizations verify benefits, navigate providernetworks, improve provider-directory accuracy, schedule care, steermembers toward higher-quality and lower-cost providers, and delivercare directly through text and voice.

The result is a fundamentally different healthcare experience formembers, and dramatically lower administrative cost for theorganizations serving them.

The Role

We're hiring a Head of Growth to personally originate and closeSunny's largest and most strategic enterprise relationships.

This is a senior individual contributor role. You will not manage asales team.

You will own relationships across health plans, TPAs, benefitsplatforms, healthcare navigation companies, provider organizations, and other large strategic partners from first conversation throughsigned contract and expansion.

These are complex deals. They may involve multiple executives, pilots, security reviews, integrations, procurement processes, ROI modeling, and entirely new ways of deploying AI inside healthcare organizations.

Your job is to personally turn that complexity into revenue.

You'll work directly with the CEO, product, and engineering. On agiven opportunity, you may act as salesperson, strategist, solutionsconsultant, and deal quarterback.

This role is for someone who wants to personally close transformativeenterprise customers, not manage a team that does.

What You'll Own

  • Personally own enterprise revenue from target-account strategythrough signed contract and expansion.
  • Identify, prospect, and develop relationships with executives athealth plans, TPAs, benefits platforms, navigation companies, provider organizations, and other strategic healthcare companies.
  • Create opportunities rather than waiting for inbound demand.
  • Identify the highest-value problems Sunny can solve inside eachorganization and structure commercial engagements around measurableoutcomes.
  • Run executive meetings, product demonstrations, negotiations, andcommercial processes yourself.
  • Navigate complex buying processes across business owners, productteams, clinical leaders, IT, security, legal, procurement, andexecutive leadership.
  • Develop pilots and proofs of concept that can quickly convert intolarge production deployments.
  • Build compelling business cases around administrative savings, memberexperience, utilization, network performance, and healthcare costreduction.
  • Work directly with product and engineering to scope integrations andtranslate customer needs without turning Sunny into a servicesorganization.
  • Develop pricing, packaging, contracting, and expansion strategies forlarge accounts.
  • Own your pipeline, forecasting, deal strategy, and revenue targets.
  • Identify repeatable enterprise wedges that allow Sunny to expand froman initial use case into a broader strategic relationship.

What Success Looks Like

You personally establish Sunny as a strategic technology partner tomajor healthcare organizations.

You originate and close significant enterprise contracts, turn pilotsinto production deployments, expand customers across Sunny products, and develop relationships that can put Sunny in front of hundreds ofthousands or millions of members.

Over time, you create a repeatable enterprise sales motion whileremaining the person executing it.

Who You Are

You are an exceptional enterprise seller who knows how to create andclose complicated healthcare deals. You likely have:

  • 7+ years in enterprise sales, business development, partnerships, orcommercial roles.
  • Significant experience personally selling into health plans, largeemployers, TPAs, healthcare technology companies, providerorganizations, or similarly complex enterprises.
  • A history of sourcing and personally closing large,multi-stakeholder contracts.
  • The ability to develop relationships with senior executives whilealso working effectively with technical and operational teams.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise healthcare economics andpurchasing.
  • Experience constructing ROI models and using economic value to drivecommercial conversations.
  • Comfort navigating security, legal, procurement, implementation, andintegration processes.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication.
  • High agency and the ability to create opportunities rather thansimply process inbound demand.
  • Comfort operating in an environment where neither the sales playbooknor the category has been fully defined.
  • Experience selling software, AI, healthcare infrastructure, navigation, payer technology, or administrative automation isespecially valuable.

You should not take this role if your primary goal is to become apeople manager. We are specifically looking for someone who wants toremain an elite individual contributor and personally own majorenterprise relationships.

Why Sunny

The healthcare industry spends enormous amounts of money operatingadministrative systems that exist largely because information andcoordination have historically been expensive.

AI changes that assumption.

Sunny is building the technology platform that connects the healthcaresystem and allows much of that work to happen autonomously.

You'll work directly with the founding team and personally own some ofthe most consequential relationships Sunny builds.

See how AI-powered navigation can lower costs and improve outcomes.
