Head of Global People Relations

For our client, we are seeking a Head of Global People Relations to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space. This leader will guide a global people relations function that balances employee trust, operational consistency, and thoughtful leadership across a complex international environment. The role will shape how employee relations, compliance, and people consulting work together to support managers and employees with fairness and empathy. It will also help modernize advisory workflows, turn workforce data into actionable insight, and strengthen governance in partnership with cross-functional stakeholders. The position calls for a leader who can bring together people strategy, responsible AI, and global compliance to improve how the organization supports its workforce at scale.

Location: Pleasanton, CA - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $250,600 – $375,800 annually

Responsibilities

• Transform people relations workflows by integrating AI and improving advisory services.
• Oversee global Employee Relations and Consulting teams to ensure fairness and empathy.
• Direct compliance strategy to adhere to international employment laws and data privacy requirements.
• Turn workplace data and employee sentiment into intelligence for organizational improvement.
• Establish responsible AI frameworks to maintain employee trust and company values.
• Lead and mentor a global team while fostering a culture of trust and career development.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of executive experience in Employee Relations, HR Risk & Compliance, and global People Consulting.
• Proven ability to leverage AI and agentic workflows for enterprise modernization.
• Expertise in building People Analytics capabilities for operational insights.
• Solid understanding of global labor standards, employment law, and ethical HR governance.
