Head of Fraud Strategy

Leading the fraud strategy for Cleo, the full-time remote Head of Fraud will manage end-to-end fraud initiatives across debit, credit, identity, and operational risk while collaborating with various teams to enhance fraud controls and customer experience. Key responsibilities Own Cleo's comprehensive fraud strategy, addressing transaction, identity, and operational fraud Establish fraud risk frameworks and performance targets, ensuring a balance between loss reduction and customer experience Lead fraud investigations, incident reviews, and manage chargeback operations and vendor evaluations Required qualifications 8+ years of experience in fraud or financial crime Proven expertise in debit and credit transaction fraud, as well as identity fraud management Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to fraud risk assessment Experience in fintech, particularly with lending or credit products Familiarity with US card regulations and fraud tooling landscape
