Head of Finance & Controlling - Site Finance Leader - Manufacturing Site

Our client is a global manufacturing company with a site in South Carolina. The site is growing, with plans to scale production and revenue over the coming years and it needs someone to build the finance function that will take it there.

The Opportunity

This is a build, not a caretaking role. The site's finance team is small today, and whoever takes this seat will be standing up the foundational systems, controls and reporting the site needs now, while growing the function and their own scope, as the site scales.

You'll play a leading financial role as the site grows, working directly with the Site Managing Director and Operations leadership.

What You'll Do

• Build foundational FP&A, budgeting and forecasting where limited infrastructure exists today
• Own liquidity, working capital, and end-to-end Order-to-Cash / Procure-to-Pay processes
• Act as financial lead on capital investment projects as the site grows - business case development, governance, and post-investment tracking
• Establish core accounting operations and internal controls, building toward a scalable framework as the site grows
• Build and lead the finance team from a small existing base
• Partner closely with Operations on planning, capacity, and manufacturing insight

What We're Looking For

• 7–10+ years of finance experience, ideally in a finance leadership role or as a senior individual contributor with full site / plant controlling experience
• Manufacturing finance experience - complex/regulated manufacturing environment advantageous
• Direct, hands-on experience with building, rebuilding, or scaling finance processes
• Comfortable operating with a lean team and imperfect systems - this is as much a hands‑on doer role as a strategic one in year one
• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting required; MBA, CPA or CMA a plus
