Head of Digital Enablement – Mobility, Convenience

  • Own and lead delivery of bp’s Mobility & Convenience Americas digital portfolio
  • Translate enterprise and Customers-level strategy into actionable roadmaps with milestones, KPIs, and success measures
  • Own a portfolio of high-impact digital initiatives and manage interdependencies and risks
  • Ensure on-time delivery of business outcomes and value
  • Direct financial modeling, value assessment, benchmarking, and other advanced analyses
  • Turn complex data into decisions for senior leaders
  • Author and present narratives for governance forums, performance reviews, and board-level updates
  • Chair governance forums where responsible for the agenda
  • Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing team
  • Define and lead the digital delivery strategy for M&CA
  • Prioritize the portfolio to maximize business value
  • Partner with Technology, Product, Engineering, Architecture, Customers, and business leaders to ship scalable digital products and platforms
  • Establish and improve agile delivery frameworks, governance, tools, and metrics across squads
  • Ensure initiatives deliver measurable revenue growth, cost efficiency, and customer impact
  • Track benefits realization
  • Engage with M&CA leadership, including the VP of Portfolio, Network & Delivery

Requirements

  • 10–15+ years of post-university experience, including team leadership
  • Strong foundation in top-tier management consulting, such as McKinsey, BCG, or Bain
  • Significant experience leading complex, cross-functional digital delivery portfolios
  • Deep experience leading agile, product-based delivery of digital products and platforms at scale
  • Strong understanding of modern digital architectures
  • Subsequent experience in oil & gas, ideally downstream, is strongly preferred
  • Hands-on experience in retail and/or convenience is nice to have
  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant professional qualification
  • MBA is beneficial but not required
  • Structured problem-solving and sound judgment
  • Advanced quantitative and qualitative analytical skills
  • Financial modeling, market assessment, and scenario analysis
  • Ability to lead teams and complex plans and coordinate stakeholders
  • Strong written, verbal, and visual communication skills
  • Ability to influence and align diverse teams and functions
  • Understanding of customer dynamics, market trends, competitive landscapes, and relevant policy, ideally in energy, mobility, or retail
  • Ability to travel up to 25%
