A few are. I am partnered with an AI manufacturing orchestration business, well funded and backed by tier-one investors, to hire their Head of Field Engineering. They are deployed across enterprise operations in 15+ countries with triple-digit revenue growth, and they are winning work faster than they can staff it.
That is where you come in. Reporting to the COO, you will own the Field Engineering organization, bringing Forward Deployed Engineering and Tech Delivery under one roof, and build the team and operating model for the next stage of growth. You will hold senior technical relationships across enterprise accounts and sit at the intersection of Product, Engineering, and Customer Operations.
The fit: 12+ years leading customer-facing technical organizations, with a track record scaling functions like FDE, Solutions Architecture, or Tech Delivery. You have shipped production software end to end, run LLM applications and data pipelines in production, and can move between executive strategy and deep architecture in the same conversation.
