Leading the business development strategy and execution, the full-time Head of Business Development will originate, evaluate, structure, negotiate, and manage partnerships to enhance the VRChat ecosystem while working remotely. Key responsibilities Partner with executive leadership to set business development strategy and priorities, focusing on opportunities outside Japan Build and manage a pipeline of opportunities across various strategic categories, including entertainment and gaming Develop clear business cases for prospective partnerships and manage ongoing relationships post-contract signing Required qualifications 8+ years of experience in business development or strategic partnerships, preferably in gaming or consumer technology Proven track record of scaling business development efforts that resulted in significant growth Experience negotiating and completing complex partnerships, collaborating with legal and cross-functional teams Strong commercial judgment and ability to evaluate partnership opportunities Creative and organized, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment
