Head of AI Product

About The Opportunity:

A leading AI technology company developing intelligent solutions for the financial services industry is seeking a visionary Head of Product. This individual contributor role offers the opportunity to shape AI-powered products that help financial professionals deliver more personalized, efficient experiences at scale. You will drive product strategy, technical direction, and execution in a fast-moving environment, partnering closely with executive leadership.

Responsibilities:

• Own the product vision and strategy for an AI-powered financial technology platform, taking products from concept through launch and continuous improvement.
• Lead the development of complex AI capabilities, including intelligent workflows, automation, and systems that combine multiple models and tools.
• Partner closely with engineering and AI teams to define technical direction, product priorities, architecture, and scalable solutions.
• Establish strong standards for product quality, including testing, evaluation, monitoring, reliability, and overall user experience.
• Build thoughtful human oversight into AI-powered experiences, balancing automation with appropriate user and expert involvement.
• Drive integrations with enterprise systems, data platforms, and third-party technologies to create seamless, scalable product experiences.
• Ensure products meet enterprise standards for security, privacy, compliance, data governance, and reliability.
• Work closely with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to shape product strategy, investment priorities, and execution.

Must-Have Skills:

• 7+ years of product management experience with strong hands-on technical product management expertise.
• Proven experience building and launching AI-powered products in production environments.
• Experience leading and influencing engineering, AI/ML, and other technical teams.
• Strong understanding of AI capabilities, model limitations, performance, and evaluation.
• Ability to own product strategy and roadmaps from concept through launch and ongoing iteration.
• Strong decision-making skills with the ability to move quickly in ambiguous, fast-changing environments.
• Consumer product experience is a plus.
• Experience building products in personal finance, wealth management, fintech, or related industries is a plus.
