Job Description
Seeking qualified individual to serve as head coach during the Fall sports season.
This extra‑curricular activity is overseen by the Martinsville City Public Schools Athletic Director.
Coaching Stipend: Paid as a one‑time stipend at the end of the sports season.
Position Type: Part‑Time.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of the sport; special training preferred.
- Demonstrated leadership qualities and ability to work collaboratively with staff and administrators in the coordination of the program.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with students and parents.
- Ability to model and promote a culture of high expectations for academics and sportsmanship.
- Experience working with diverse populations including students with disabilities and students who are English language learners.
- Previous coaching experience preferred.
