Job Description
nInsight Global is looking for a Harness Technician in the Greater San Jose area. This individual will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and integrating high quality, high reliability wire harness and electro-mechanical assemblies. You will read, interpret, and work from drawings as well as controlled documentation and processes like: cable harnesses including wiring diagrams, layout drawings, mechanical drawings & GD&T and assembly procedures and work instructions & schematics, engineering drawings and parts list. Additional duties include: Perform work according to procedures, specifications, and test instructions, use various mechanical and precision calibrated tools and equipment and perform electrical checkouts using custom setups combined with off the shelf equipment/components

nSkills and Requirements
n2-4 years of experience in a production assembly environment
nStrong background in wire harnessing and electro-mechanical assembly
nAbility to read and integrate wiring diagrams, layout drawings, mechanical drawings and GD&T
nExperience inspecting wire harness and cable assemblies Experience in the aerospace industry, aviation, military, or other high-reliability operating environment
nKnowledge of electrical and mechanical systems
nSkill in operating and manipulating machinery and various hand and power tools requiring manual dexterity
nAbility to use precision measuring instruments
