Hardware Validation Engineer

Our client is seeking a dedicated Hardware Validation Engineer to join their innovative team. As a Hardware Validation Engineer, you will be an essential part of the post-silicon lab activities supporting performance and power characterization, optimization, and validation of pre-production CPU/GPU products. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and a passion for technological excellence, aligning successfully within a dynamic and inclusive organization.

Job Title: Hardware Validation Engineer

Location: Austin, TX

Duration: 12+ months with highly possible extension / conversion

Pay Range: $27 - $30 / hr. on W2

What's the Job?

  • Set up power and performance measurement platforms for testing and validation.
  • Execute comprehensive power and performance test plans to ensure product quality.
  • Support lab debug activities to troubleshoot and resolve hardware issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize product performance and power efficiency.
  • Document test results and provide detailed analysis to inform product development.

What's Needed?

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
  • 2-4 years of relevant work experience in hardware validation or related fields.
  • Good understanding of PC system architecture, operating systems, drivers, ACPI, and BIOS.
  • Experience with performance, power, and thermal lab work is an asset.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
