Project & Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and allocate resources for a team of ATE technicians. Drive the execution and data collection for packaged SOCs, ensuring targets for test time, yield, and coverage are met.
Engineering & Test Support: Support and oversee critical engineering activities, including testing, test program validation, and hardware checkout.
Hands-On Technical Guidance: Oversee and assist with ATE setup and testing using Advantest V93000 (Verigy 93K) testers. Perform or guide the team in making load board setups to ensure full functionality for testing.
Lab Operations & Equipment Maintenance: Manage daily ATE lab operations. Ensure the strict calibration and preventative maintenance of all test equipment and lab tools to minimize downtime.
Hardware Logistics & Tracking: Take full ownership of hardware maintenance and logistics. Manage the storage, tracking, and maintenance of load boards, test samples (silicon), and various socket in the lab.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Design, Product Engineering and Operations, to align test strategies with product roadmaps and manufacturing requirements.
Required Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
Experience: 7+ years of experience in semiconductor test engineering, lab management, or technical project management.
Leadership: Proven track record of directly managing or leading large technical teams (20+ members) in a lab or test floor environment.
Technical Expertise: Deep, hands-on experience with Advantest V93000 (Verigy 93K) testers and specifically the SmarTest 8 environment.
Lab & Hardware Skills: Proficiency in using standard lab equipment (Plungers . Chillers, Thermal Control Systems, Sockets ,etc).
