What You Will Do
- Test & Validate Hardware - Develop and execute test plans for hardware and optical systems, debugging issues and ensuring functionality.
- End-to-End Ownership - Own test setups, equipment, and processes, providing actionable results to engineering teams.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration - Work with design engineers, vendors, and partners to maintain high-quality standards.
- Continuous Improvement - Design new test fixtures and tools, implement hardware validations, and improve existing processes.
- Technical Support - Assist technicians and engineering teams in troubleshooting and testing.
- Travel - Up to 10% for supplier or lab visits.
- Strong experience in hardware testing, Python, and optical system validation.
- Attention to detail and ability to detect subtle failures or inconsistencies.
- Ability to collaborate across teams and communicate technical results clearly.
- Aptitude for designing and implementing test tools and processes.
- Hands-on problem solver with a bias for action.
