- Support and manage calibration activities for the Inertial Sensor Assembly to ensure accuracy and reliability
- Develop, maintain, and improve test stations and calibration software
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support hardware and software integration throughout the calibration process
- Write and execute software scripts to automate calibration and testing processes
- Document calibration procedures and ensure compliance with industry standards
- Provide technical support and training to team members as needed
- Train test technicians and maintain or create Test Instructions
- Work as part of a multidisciplinary team within the Inertial Sensor Assembly Calibration (ISACal) group
- Contribute to projects advancing aerospace navigation, inertial sensing, and hardware systems
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, or mathematics
- Experience in a Test Engineering role in aerospace, related, or electrical engineering industries
- Background in hardware, electronics, or electrical systems
- Must be a US Citizen due to contractual requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Hardware, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Attention to detail and strong commitment to quality and accuracy
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Understanding of software and hardware integration in testing environments
- Experience with calibration procedures for Inertial Sensor Assemblies or similar systems
- Knowledge of test stations and calibration software applications
- Proficiency in MATLAB for data analysis and software development
- Experience with Thermal Rate Tables and Test Stations
- Familiarity with Python, C++, and Arduino
