Hardware Technical Program Manager, Energy StorageWe are seeking a Hardware Technical Program Manager (TPM) to lead the development, testing, and manufacturing of complex, box-level electronics assemblies. You will own program execution from concept through production, coordinating across hardware engineering, validation, supply chain, and operations. This role is about making sure our hardware — from circuit boards and flex assemblies to enclosures, connectors, and integrated box builds — is designed for reliability, tested thoroughly, and built to scale.Responsibilities will include:Drive end-to-end hardware program execution (requirements ? design ? validation ? NPI ? ramp)Lead cross-functional teams spanning mechanical, electrical, firmware, industrial design, test, and manufacturing engineeringPlan and manage prototype and production builds, including materials, logistics, and factory readinessOversee board and flex releases, system integration, and validation testing (DVT/PVT/MP builds)Partner with suppliers and contract manufacturers to drive DFM/DFT reviews, yield improvement, and issue resolutionMaintain clear build plans, risk registers, and program dashboards; proactively manage schedule and resource risksServe as the primary interface between Redwood engineering teams and external manufacturing partnersProvide transparent updates to stakeholders and leadership, highlighting status, risks, and key decisionsDesired qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or related Engineering discipline (advanced degree a plus)5+ years of experience in hardware program management, hardware engineering, or manufacturing operationsProven success driving NPI builds and scaling hardware programs to volume productionStrong understanding of box-level assemblies (PCBs, flex circuits, harnessing, enclosures, thermal systems)Exceptional organizational, communication, and leadership skills; proven ability to thrive in high-ambiguity environmentsWillingness to travel to Redwood's sites, suppliers, and contract manufacturers as neededThe position is full-time and located in San Francisco, CA.
Compensation will be commensurate with experience.California Pay Range: $153,000 - $248,500 USD
