Hardware Support Technician
Our client, a leading provider of hardware support services, is seeking a Hardware Support Technician to join their team. As a Hardware Support Technician, you will be part of the Technical Support Department supporting on-site hardware repair and maintenance. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent interpersonal communication, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
Location: Baton Rouge, LA
What's the Job?
- Perform hardware repair and configuration of HP print devices, including DesignJet, A3, and LaserJet models.
- Provide technical support for Personal Systems such as laptops, desktops, POS systems, and workstations.
- Assist with installations, troubleshooting, and resolving hardware issues onsite at customer locations.
- Work collaboratively with escalation teams and technical personnel to develop effective action plans.
- Engage with customers to educate them about technology solutions, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and service quality.
What's Needed?
- Proven experience troubleshooting hardware problems on HP print devices and personal systems.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and experience working with tools and alignment apparatus.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, especially in customer-facing situations.
- Ability to prioritize multiple activities and adapt quickly to changing environments.
- Reliable personal auto, with mileage reimbursement, and residence within 15 minutes of Baton Rouge.
