Position Overview
We are seeking a Hardware Technician to support the disassembly, reassembly, testing, and preparation of laptops and tablets. This is an onsite, hands-on position ideal for someone who enjoys working with computer hardware and troubleshooting technical issues.
Responsibilities
- Disassemble and reassemble laptops, tablets, and related computer equipment.
- Diagnose and identify basic hardware issues.
- Replace or repair hardware components as needed.
- Test devices to ensure proper functionality after repair or reassembly.
- Perform quality-control checks on completed devices.
- Document repairs, testing results, and equipment status.
- Follow established procedures for handling, repairing, and testing equipment.
- Maintain an organized and safe work environment.
Qualifications
- Basic understanding of computer hardware and components.
- Comfortable using hand tools and working with small electronic components.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical procedures.
- Ability to troubleshoot and test equipment methodically.
- Prior experience repairing, assembling, or servicing computers, laptops, tablets, or electronics is preferred.
- Ability to work onsite and stand or sit for extended periods as needed.
Compensation & Schedule
- $600 per week
- Onsite contract-to-hire opportunity
