Overview
US Citizenship is required for this position. All qualified candidates will be responded to in 24 hrs or less. Employment type: Full Time, or C2C or 1099.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)
- Minimum of eight (8) years of relevant engineering experience
- Experience in an engineering design and development environment with at least four (4) years of direct experience with Test Equipment design and development tasks
- Ability to obtain Interim Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date
- Experience leading technical teams and projects
- Experience with National Instruments’ TestStand, LabWindows/CVI, and/or LabVIEW Digital, and/or Analog, and/or RF, and/or power supply test hardware design experience
- Experience with routine use and/or automation of commercial test and measurement equipment, i.e. Oscilloscopes, DMMs, network analyzers, power supplies, etc.
- Prefered Experience with project management tools such as MS Project, Jira/Confluence, and Earned Value Management System (EVMS) tracking software
Responsibilities
- Lead development of test hardware, software, and/or firmware through its development cycle, from requirements definition through deployment at manufacturing or customer facilities. These test capabilities may span disciplines (Power, RF, Analog, Digital) and domains (hardware, software, firmware)
- Work with Prime Engineering, Production, and Operations teams early in development cycle to identify capability and capacity needs for manufacturing test and ensure smooth deployment to manufacturing facilities
- Actively identify test readiness issues and optimizations through the development lifecycle
- Lead medium-to-large sized teams to meet project budget, schedule, and performance commitments
