Reliability Engineer (Computer Hardware)Location: Onsite in Austin, TXDuration: FTE - Direct HireWe're seeking a hands-on Hardware Reliability Engineer to lead testing and validation for advanced computing hardware. This role focuses on ensuring mechanical and thermal durability across a range of demanding operating conditions.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute reliability test plans for new hardware systemsOversee shock, vibration, thermal cycling, and environmental stress testingDefine test requirements and performance criteria based on product goalsCollaborate with design and systems teams to analyze results and improve designsCreate custom test setups and fixtures when neededLead root cause analysis and document findings in reliability reportsQualifications5+ years in reliability or test engineering for electronics or mechanical systemsKnowledge of standards such as MIL-STD-810 or ISTAExperience with vibration, HALT/HASS, or thermal stress testingUnderstanding of thermal design and heat management principlesStrong analytical, communication, and documentation skillsBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field (Master's a plus)
