Overview

Hardware Programmer vacancy in Ontario USA

Location: Anywhere in US/Canada (Remote)

Responsibilities

  • Server Virtualization technologies. (KVM knowledge)
  • RHEL - Vast Experience in Linux, Kernel driver development and packaging.
  • RHEL Real-Time Kernel experience is an added advantage.
  • Shell scripting
  • iPXE, vMedia, kickstart file experience.
  • Networking knowledge specifically in i40Gig Intel Driver, SRIOV Virtual Functions and Physical Functions.
  • OpenStack Experience (Manage, deploy, configure, and troubleshoot) (Nova, Neutron, Ironic)
  • Baremetal Server Provisioning and management
  • Additional Networking knowledge on DHCP, IPV6, VxLAN, BGP, VPP is a plus.
  • Fine tune BIOS configurations and updating BIOS on Servers

Qualifications

  • Experience with Linux, particularly RHEL, kernel driver development and packaging.
  • RHEL Real-Time Kernel experience is a plus.
  • Experience with server virtualization technologies (KVM).
  • iPXE, vMedia, kickstart file experience.
  • Networking knowledge including i40Gig Intel Driver, SRIOV VFs/PFs, DHCP, IPv6, VxLAN, BGP, VPP.
  • OpenStack experience (Nova, Neutron, Ironic) for management, deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with Baremetal provisioning and management.
