Hardware Integration Tester
Location: Cedar Rapids, IA or Erie, PA (Onsite) Start Date: ASAP
We are seeking an experienced Hardware Integration Tester with a strong background in railroad control systems for a long-term opportunity. The ideal candidate will bring 6–7 years of hands-on testing experience with specific expertise in Trip Optimizer and at least one Wabtec product.
Must-Have Skills:
- 6–7 years of experience in hardware/software/system integration testing
- Strong hands-on experience with Trip Optimizer
- Experience with at least one of the following Wabtec products:
- PTC (Positive Train Control)
- IETMS / I-ETMS
- Onboard Systems
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute functional, integration, and system-level tests on embedded hardware/software systems
- Collaborate with engineering teams to validate and troubleshoot hardware-software interactions
- Analyze and document test results, identifying root causes of issues
- Participate in requirements reviews and ensure traceability between test cases and requirements
- Ensure compliance with railroad industry standards and safety requirements
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience working on railway, transportation, or industrial control systems
- Familiarity with Wabtec technologies or similar safety-critical systems
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
