Responsibilities:You will join a group of dedicated, enthusiastic, and dynamic team players in the Memory Tester Business Unit designing IC testers for the DRAM and Flash memory marketOwn board level design for large-scale, multi-board hardware systemsExecute end-to-end hardware development, from concept through design, test, manufacture, and customer releaseDesign hardware for complex high-speed digital, analog, power, FPGA, and ASIC-based designsProvide technical direction and mentorship to junior engineersEnsure robust product quality through high-speed design practices and basic understanding of signal integrity and power integrity conceptsExecute hardware architecture decisions aligned to customer needsAct as a technical escalation point to solve complex design and customer issues and perform root cause analysis for mission critical applicationsDevelop scalable, high-quality production hardware solutions through collaborative processesMust Have:Bachelors or Masters in Electrical Engineering, or relevant field5+ years of experience in hardware and board design with demonstrated ownership of complex systems from concept through productionExperience designing all aspects of board level circuitry, including high speed digital, custom analog design, power distribution, and FPGA-based systems, with knowledge of mechanical and thermal considerationsPrior experience with high-speed interconnects (DDR, PCIe, USB, SerDes) and PCB design techniques including application of signal integrity (SI) and power integrity (PI) conceptsAbility to collaborate in cross-functional development efforts to deliver innovative hardware solutionsStrong communications skills and the ability to work with geographically dispersed multifunctional teamsProven ability to mentor, guide, and influence peers and junior engineersExperience working with customers, partners and suppliers on complex technical issues and applicationsStrong reasoning skills and collaborative approach to problem solvingWorks with limited direction; can identify and propose solutions to design challenges
