Hardware EngineerLockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems has an opportunity in Valley Forge, PA for a hardware engineer, supporting RMS EMC2 programs in Valley Forge, PA. The work as a hardware engineer supporting RMS EMC2, located in Valley Forge, PA, will include: analyzing customer requirements (power, cooling, environment, storage, and transportation); developing Bills of Material, generating COTS modification and assembly drawings; coordinating material purchases with procurement department and approving of vendor quotes; supporting hardware assembly tasks; coordinating with vendors to repair or replace defective or damaged equipment, identify and document modifications; coordinating and supporting equipment installation at test and customer facilities and providing customer support to help them resolve problems.Please note: this position requires a government security clearance; you must be a US Citizen for consideration. You will collaborate with a diverse team of technical professionals including software and systems engineers, architects, and our project engineering team on the EMC2 programs. Work schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
