Our client, an innovative technology company specializing in the design and development of advanced embedded hardware systems, is seeking a Hardware Design Engineer to join their growing engineering team. Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience designing embedded hardware or digital electronic systems.
  • Strong understanding of digital electronics, processors, circuit boards, and embedded computing platforms.
  • Experience with schematic capture and PCB layout tools.
  • Familiarity with electronic test equipment and hardware validation techniques.
  • Ability to interpret electronic schematics, logic diagrams, and technical documentation.
  • Understanding of high‑speed digital design principles and signal integrity.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative engineering environment.
  • Self‑motivated with the ability to manage priorities and work independently.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience using Altium Designer or similar PCB design software.
  • Experience designing products for regulated or compliance‑driven industries.
  • Familiarity with EMC/EMI, FCC, CE, or other applicable design standards.
  • Experience with signal integrity, power integrity, simulation, or hardware modeling.
  • Power supply design and power management experience.
  • Design for Test (DFT) and Design for Manufacturing (DFM) experience.
  • Experience working with multiple processor architectures such as x86‑64, ARM, or RISC‑V.
  • Experience supporting products from prototype through full‑scale production.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and validate digital embedded hardware systems and circuit board assemblies.
  • Participate in product research and development activities, including architecture, component selection, and hardware design.
  • Develop schematics, PCB layouts, and supporting engineering documentation using industry‑standard CAD tools.
  • Partner with firmware, software, mechanical, manufacturing, and test engineering teams throughout the product development lifecycle.
  • Create and maintain functional specifications, manufacturing documentation, and engineering change documentation.
  • Develop production test procedures, fixtures, and validation processes to support manufacturing and quality objectives.
  • Troubleshoot hardware designs and perform design verification, functional testing, and root cause analysis.
  • Support product improvements, manufacturing activities, and ongoing engineering initiatives.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
