Installing, troubleshooting, and repairing CNC machines and computerized control systems at customer sites
Performing preventive maintenance tasks and providing training to customers on how to use and maintain CNC machines safely and efficiently
Communicating with customers and service managers to ensure customer satisfaction and timely resolution of issues
Documenting service activities and reporting any problems or suggestions to improve service quality and performance
Replacing ball screws, motors and any parts as needed
Machine alignment and adjustment
Domestic and international travel required (Mexico and Canada)
Qualifications
A high school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree or certificate in CNC technology, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or related field is preferred
At least 3 years of experience in CNC service, maintenance or repair; experience with different types of CNC machines such as lathes, mills, routers, etc. is a plus
Strong mechanical and electrical skills and knowledge of CNC programming and operation
A valid driver's license and willingness to travel to customer locations as needed
Excellent customer service, communication and problem-solving skills
