Space Kinetic is building ambitious, first-of-its-kind technology, and that requires urgency, ownership, and a high level of commitment to changing the foundational assumptions for everything we do in space.What You'll Do:We are seeking an Operations Assistant to support daily facility organization, maintenance follow-up, inventory support, and general operational tasks at our El Segundo location.
This role helps maintain an organized work environment, supports material handling, and assists with day-to-day operational needs across the facility.Key Responsibilities:Perform general building maintenance and repairsHandle basic plumbing, electrical, painting, and carpentry tasksAssemble and move furniture, equipment, and workstationsMaintain shop organization and cleanlinessAssist with facility improvement projectsCoordinate with outside vendors and contractors as neededConduct routine inspections and address maintenance issues proactivelySupport shipping, receiving, and miscellaneous operational tasks when neededHelp maintain a safe and professional working environmentWhat It Takes:Previous handyman, maintenance, facilities, construction, or related experience preferredBasic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general repair workComfortable using common hand and power toolsAbility to lift up to 50 poundsSelf-motivated and able to work independentlyStrong attention to detail and problem-solving skillsReliable transportation and dependable attendanceOur vision is unique, and so is the team we're building.
