Hands-on Azure Cloud Architect for Top Financial Firm

Contract position with a top financial firm in New Jersey.

Responsibilities

• Engineer Azure services so the application development team can consume them.
• Lead the WMA Developer Transformation initiative.
• Collaborate with CTO teams, WMA application teams and Infrastructure teams to implement build chain tools for WMA developers.
• Analyze Azure services, development tools, design application solutions, and create reference implementations.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and problem‐solving skills.
• Deep understanding of the Azure platform and hands‑on experience engineering Azure services for development teams.
• Experience with DevOps tools (Jenkins, TeamCity, Maven, Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, Nexus, Sonar, Fortify, Confluence, Flow JIRA, Elastic Search, Splunk, etc.).
• Knowledge of testing / test‑automation tools such as Selenium, Robot Framework, JMeter, Cucumber, etc.
• Experience designing and configuring container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes; understanding of PCF is a plus.
• Experience automating environment provisioning using Terraform, Ansible, and other tools.
• Ability to support technical concepts, effort estimations and feasibility studies.
• Knowledge of Agile (Scrum/Kanban) and SDLC methodologies is essential.
