Job Title: Haitian Creole Language Instructor
Job Type: Part-time; per course
Location: Downtown Boston and in the Boston area
Start Date: As soon as possible
We are looking to expand our language offerings and are looking to hire a Haitian Creole teacher for private classes and small groups of all levels for adults. We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic instructor who is comfortable working in a flexible schedule.
The ideal candidate will:
Have a Bachelor’s or higher degree in Haitian Creole Language and Literature, or a related field
Have native fluency in Haitian Creole
Have at least 5 years’ experience teaching Haitian Creole to adults in both group and private classes
Be able to work independently to design language curricula
Have demonstrated ability to effectively engage students of all levels
Have experience in multicultural settings and working with a diverse team
Preferred qualifications include:
A Master’s degree or higher in related field
Ability/interest in teaching any additional languages
