Hadoop / ETL Team LeadFunctional Team Lead:Responsibilities include:Managing scope and requirements;Managing the work from functional design through test;Informing the Project Manager of issues that may affect other areas of the Project; Assisting in resolving issues;Participating in quality reviews of designs;Providing status to Project Management on a regular basis;Assisting with defining solution blueprint;Confirming and transitioning planning deliverable;Working with other team leads to confirm technical architecture analysis deliverables.The Functional Lead then transitions into the Development Lead.Skills and Knowledge should include:Deep functional and technical knowledge of the application;Custom development experience;Strong analytical and supervisory skills;Technical Team Lead:Experience in managing teams with competing priorities and tight deadlines.Responsible for supervising deliverable development by software engineers and test analysts.Generally, a workstream will be further divided into cells or teams based on functional area, technical needs, and/or project lifecycle demands.Supervision includes assigning specific components to specific resources, reviewing deliverables (code, test scripts, unit tests, etc.), participating in checkpoints, reporting status to Project Managers/Workstream Leads, managing resource issues, integrating with other teams to provide a cohesive final product, and managing team level issues and risks.
