Strong Hadoop experience with MAP REDUCE/Hive/Pig/SQOOP/OOZIE is mandatory. The candidate should have hands on experience with Java, APIs, spring. Strong knowledge and experience in core Java is required. The candidate should have strong hands-on experience with multithreading, design patterns, data structures, REST-based WebServices, JSON, RDBMS/databases such as Oracle etc. Basic knowledge of Unix shell scripting is also required.
Experience in Hadoop – Pig, Map-reduce, Sqoop, Hive, YARN, file formats like Avro, Parquet, Spark, columnar NoSQL DBs like HBase, complex high volume high velocity projects end to end delivery experience, scripting language like Scala, Python, BigData architectures, framework building experience on Hadoop, Big Data ecosystem, sizing and estimating large scale big data projects, DB knowledge with SQL tuning experience, Impala, Splunk, Kafka, Apache Parquet Data format, ETL and data warehouse projects, Spark, Flume, Cloudera/Hortonworks certified, and desire to work in a global delivery environment is also required.QualificationsBasic qualifications include a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
