Opportunity:

Physician Assistant - Hematology/Oncology


Job Details:

  • Inpatient Hematology/Oncology APP (PA or NP) position available with locums to permanent options

  • Day shift schedule: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday

  • Full-time coverage needed with 11-16 patients per day

  • Patient population includes all ages within the Hematology/Oncology department

  • Must be comfortable working in an unsupervised setting with solid tumor patients

  • Experience with benign and malignant hematology patients is required

  • APP support available on inpatient side for both hematology and oncology during daytime hours

  • Knowledge around bone marrow practice is a plus, though specialization is not required at this time

  • Two APP positions available: one focused on Oncology and one with a strong Hematology focus

  • EMR system: Epic experience required

  • Certifications required: BLS and ACLS

  • Board Certification as PA or APP required

  • MN state license required; willing to license only if IMLC eligible

  • DEA not required

The organization is actively expanding its bone marrow practice and provides APP support on the inpatient side, fostering a collaborative and team-oriented care environment. The facility utilizes Epic as its electronic medical records system and is committed to delivering high-quality, specialized care to patients of all ages.
