Gynecologic Surgeon

A physician-led multispecialty group is seeking a board certified or truly board eligible OB/GYN physician with training in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery for a permanent job opening in Elmhurst/Astoria, Queens, New York. This outpatient-only role features no call, hospital, or obstetrical responsibilities, allowing the provider to focus on evaluating and treating a broad range of gynecologic conditions and performing in-office procedures. • Team-based environment with RN support, a dedicated MA (1:1), and an APP
• Multispecialty group with multiple specialties onsite
• Patient population includes commercially insured, Medicaid, and Medicare patients, as well as underserved communities
• EMR: Epic

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat a broad range of gynecologic conditions, including endometriosis, leiomyomas, and adnexal masses
• Provide preventive care, surgical evaluations, and ongoing management
• Perform in-office procedures, which may include LEEP, colposcopy, hysteroscopy and endometrial biopsy, vulvar biopsy, and pessary care

Compensation

• Annual salary range: $300,000–$425,000
• RVU incentive opportunity
• Compensation based on experience, education, training, and other relevant factors

Requirements

• Board certified or truly board eligible OB/GYN physician with training in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery required
• Completion of accredited obstetrics and gynecology residency training required before starting
• Training in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery required
• Robotic certification strongly preferred
• Active, unrestricted New York State medical license required
• Active DEA registration or eligibility to obtain
• Medicare/Medicaid enrollment or eligibility to enroll
• BLS or ACLS certification required; both strongly preferred
