Ask us how we do it at the Y - it's awesome!Comprehensive benefits package which includes health, dental and vision insurance, and paid time offWhat Is Needed For This Job As Our Gymnastics Team & Program Director:Experience coaching competitive gymnastics and teaching recreational gymnastics programsExperience leading staff, volunteers, or program operationsKnowledge of gymnastics safety standards and athlete developmentAbility to plan and coordinate multiple programs, events, and schedules simultaneouslyCurrent gymnastics, CPR, First Aid, or other required certifications, or the ability to obtain themThe Responsibilities We Will Trust You With As Our Gymnastics Team & Program Director:Coach and develop YMCA gymnastics team athletes through quality instruction and competitive preparationLead and grow instructional gymnastics programs for participants of all ages and skill levelsOversee gymnastics birthday parties, camps, clinics, and special eventsRecruit, train, schedule, supervise, and support gymnastics instructors, coaches, volunteers, and party staffCoordinate class schedules, team practices, facility usage, and special eventsDevelop new programs and initiatives that increase participation, retention, and program qualityMonitor participant progress and maintain positive communication with familiesEnsure gymnastics spaces, equipment, and programs meet YMCA safety and quality standardsSupport participant enrollment, retention, and community engagement effortsPartner with Marketing to promote gymnastics programs, camps, events, and team activitiesMaintain program records, schedules, attendance, and required documentationCollaborate with YMCA leadership to evaluate program performance and identify opportunities for growthWhat You Can Expect:Support from an experienced program leadership teamOpportunities to expand and shape a growing gymnastics programThe ability to coach athletes while developing future instructors and leadersMeaningful work helping children build confidence, strength, and lifelong skillsYMCA is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
