Seeking experienced GWTG Stroke Abstractors, the full-time or part-time remote position will focus on accurately collecting and abstracting data from patient medical records related to stroke care, ensuring data integrity, and adhering to clinical guidelines. Key Responsibilities Collects and abstracts data from patient medical records, specifically regarding stroke diagnoses, treatments, and outcomes Ensures accuracy and completeness of abstracted data by cross-referencing multiple sources within medical records Adheres to clinical data abstraction guidelines and participates in quality assurance processes to maintain data integrity Required Qualifications At least 2 years of recent GWTG STK and/or CSTK abstraction experience Ability to independently abstract cases using registry specifications and clinical documentation Strong understanding of healthcare quality reporting and medical record interpretation Experience working with multiple EHRs, registry platforms, and data collection systems Contractors must have high-speed secure internet and a PC or laptop with at least two monitors
