Gulfstream G450 Captain

Hancock Aviation is a top-tier aviation services company specializing in the maintenance, sales, and management of private and corporate aircraft. Based at Baton Rouge Metropolitan Airport (KBTR), we support a wide range of general aviation and turbine aircraft. We are adding a Gulfstream G450 to our managed fleet and are seeking an experienced Captain to fly it.

Job Description

The G450 Captain is responsible for the safe, efficient, and professional operation of a Gulfstream G450 under Part 91. Captains serve as pilot in command on domestic and international trips, work closely with maintenance and scheduling, and represent Hancock Aviation to owners and passengers. This position is based at KBTR and reports to the President.

Responsibilities

• Serve as pilot in command on Part 91 domestic and international flights
• Plan trips, including weather, performance, fuel, permits, and international handling
• Conduct thorough preflight inspections and ensure the aircraft is airworthy before each flight
• Coordinate with maintenance on discrepancies, scheduled inspections, and return to service
• Maintain accurate flight logs, duty records, and trip documentation
• Deliver a professional, discreet experience for owners and passengers
• Mentor and work closely with fellow crew members
• Complete company-paid recurrent training on schedule

Qualifications

• FAA ATP certificate (Required)
• G450 PIC type rated (Required)
• Current FAA First-Class Medical Certificate (Required)
• 4,000+ hours total time (Required)
• 2,000+ hours multi-engine (Required)
• 100+ hours in the G450 (Required)
• Valid passport with the ability to travel internationally (Required)
• Clean accident, incident, and FAA enforcement history
• International operations experience (Preferred)
• Recent recurrent training at FlightSafety or CAE (Preferred)

$210,000 – $270,000 per year (Based on Experience)

Experience

• G450 type rating
• Commercial pilot certificate or higher, with multi-engine and instrument ratings
• 4,000+ hours total time
• 2,000+ hours multi-engine
• 100+ hours in the G450

License/Certification

• G450 PIC type rating (Required)
• FAA First-Class Medical (Required)
