Guidewire PolicyCenter Configuration DeveloperWe are seeking a skilled Guidewire PolicyCenter Configuration Developer to join our development team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter, particularly in configuration and integration, and a strong understanding of the Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance domain.Key Responsibilities:Configure Guidewire PolicyCenter based on business requirements using Gosu programming language.Work closely with business analysts, QA teams, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions.Customize UI components, create new screens, and modify existing ones using Guidewire Studio.Develop and manage product model, coverage terms, forms, and other policy configuration elements.Implement business rules, validation rules, and workflows using Gosu.Develop integration components using Guidewire’s Integration APIs (SOAP/REST web services, messaging, plugins).Participate in Agile/Scrum development processes including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.Support SIT/UAT testing phases by fixing configuration-related issues.Create and maintain technical documentation including configuration design, mapping documents, and deployment guides.Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in PolicyCenter implementation.Required Skills & Qualifications:3+ years of experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter Configuration.Proficiency in Gosu and Java.Experience with Guidewire Studio, especially for configuring screens, typelists, and PCF files.Good understanding of the PolicyCenter data model, product model, and rules framework.Experience with integration frameworks (SOAP, REST, JMS).Knowledge of Guidewire best practices and software development life cycle (SDLC).Familiarity with DevOps tools (Jenkins, Git, Maven, etc.) and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.Strong problem-solving and communication skills.Preferred Qualifications:Guidewire Certification in PolicyCenter Configuration (version 9 or later).Knowledge of other Guidewire products like BillingCenter or ClaimCenter.Experience working with cloud deployments (AWS, Azure) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).Exposure to P&C insurance domain processes and terminology.Education:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
